MY NEW DECODEN CELL PHONE~

Hello Friends!!!

I've been wanting to decoden my phone case for sometime now so I finally did it over the weekend. WOO HOO!!! Of course I had to deco it out with Hello Kitty, pink, bunnies, roses, ribbons, strawberries, & sweets. :P

Happy Friday Friends!!!

I'm sooooo glad Friday is already here. It's been a rough week for me so I'm looking forward to the weekend.

On Sunday I will be visiting the 48th Annual Niles Antique Fair & Flea Market. I'm excited to go as my Sister invited me to attend the event with her. I heard it's going to be SUPER pack with people. It opens at 6am. WHOA!!! It'll be interesting to see what treasures I can find. I'm specifically looking for ephemera. I especially LOVE vintage greeting cards, postcards, pamphlets, tickets, and old letters.

I have a stack of vintage postcards & greeting cards I picked up when I attended the Vintage Paper Faire a few months ago but forgot to post pics. I'll do another post when I get home. Stay tune for update.

On another note, I was looking through my flickr album and found some pics of my Sanrio "Hello Kitty & Friends" pen collection. I have been collecting pens for 12+ years. There are soooo many neat pens that I can't bear to use them. At least the ones I consider to be rare. LOL! Here's a pic of some of my pens~







It's been awhile since I've purchase any new Hello Kitty pens but I think it's time to be on the hunt for a few. LOL!!!

MAIL ART~ GOODIES SENT

Just wanted to share the mail art goodies I sent off to Jacqueline. I really enjoy doing these mail art swaps and look forward to doing more in the future. Please let me know if interested. HELLO KITTY IN SHABBY CHIC~ :)

Hello Friends!!!

How are all of you doing? I hope all is well. The other day I was thinking about something to make with the burlap fabric I bought while thrifting a while back. I created this burlap bag for one of my Youtube friends (Shhh... it's a secret). She likes Hello Kitty so I thought it would be fun to add an image of her. I used collage pauge to apply the image which works perfectly. I added lace trims, pink grosgrain ribbon bows, & some mini paper roses. Here's a pic of what I created.

OOOOH!!!! Look what I received a few days ago. It's from my dear friend Norma. I LOVE all the goodies you sent me. It was a WONDERFUL surprise to see this sweet package waiting for me after a long day at work.

FB'S & DECO SWAPPERS WANTED

I haven't swapped fb's or decos in a long time and I really would like to get back into doing some swaps. Anyone interested??? I don't have a lot of excess Fb's like I used to so if you don't mind receiving new fb's or decos please let me know. The above picture are some of the old fb's & decos I passed along. I found this pic in my flickr album which was taken in 2007.

ANOTHER DECO DEN PROJECT~

I want to share with all of you the deco den container I created for my friend Katherine. It was her last day at work today so I wanted to give her a gift. Katherine's favorite color is purple. I used 3" x 5" size plastic container and various cabochons and other embellishments I have in my stash. I also added lots of sparkling glitter.

I also created some mini containers. I made the mini purple one for Katherine as well. The others I will be adding to my etsy shop soon. I have a few more items I want to create before I re-open my shop.
